About Quercus Training

Quercus Training was established in 2010 by Dr Helen Goulding, to develop delegates' skills and make them more effective in the workplace. We provide professional skills training to technical specialists, such as researchers in universities and other organisations, and specialist teams such as project managers, engineers, finance and HR.

Quercus (pronounced Kwerk-uss) is the Latin name for an oak tree. Helen chose this as a business name because she liked the analogy of a small acorn growing steadily into a powerful oak tree. She is passionate about personal growth and development, and enjoys helping people to become their best selves.

Helen often delivers courses herself, with support from other trainers for larger groups. All Quercus' trainers have recent, relevant experience of the topic they are teaching and are hand picked by Helen to meet client needs.
